    Anyone planning to come to Kusadasi this year and intends to use ATMs to withdraw cash should enquire at their bank what charges they are likely to have to pay.

    Some banks have been known to charge up to 5quid for a 50 pound YTL equivalent withdrawal!

    A little tip.....

    Open a Nationwide account - deposit your holiday spend money in there before you leave for Kusadasi and then use their Bank Card - They dont charge a penny!

    Oh I had this problem .. I couldnt use my bankcard from Belgium..and i didnt know what to do and i had to call my bank in belgium so i paid a fortune to active it abroad ...! it was okay cose i have family and friends here they looked after me for a few days but for a toursit that can be a nightmare LoL
