Hi all, will be visiting kus soon and just wondered what currency to use really? My friend went last year and took lira, euros and used british pounds too, I just wasn't sure if that was necessary, do you think just lira and british pounds will be ok? What do you all take and use?
yes english pound's is good and they will take everywhere!i would only take a small amount of turkish lira with you as you will get a better rate in Turkey!enjoy your holiday!

I think best currency is turkish lira to use in kusadasi , just chnage your english money in a bank or ina chnage office and use turkish lira for shopping and for other things..

Hi guys, thanks for your help, I was gonna change up half of my spending money before I go, but now will probably only change up about a quarter of it and do the rest when I get there. The rate here today for lira is 2.51 lira per £1, do you thing it will be much more in kus then?
i am not sure what rate they are giving from the banks in kusadasi today but the rate today for sterling is 2.63 ytl,if i was you i would only change about £50 in england to cover you for airport, taxi or whatever when you get too Turkey and change the rest in Kusadasi as you will get a better rate there than england,take care!

The wonderful lads have pretty much covered it all... All I can add is don't change your money in bars or restaurants, you get a much better rate in the banks or change offices.

if u will spend much , i think u must change your all money to turkish liras. bu if u will spend a little, its not important what kind of currency u ll use.
