In the last few days I have been doing some research and found that if you are with O2 UK, 0870 and 0844 numbers are included in O2 inclusive minutes and let you dial abroad direct.

You just dial the above number and dial the destination number direct - absolutely free if you have O2 inclusive minutes.
If you do not have a O2 mobile, you still can call abroad for the
price of a National call from a landline or other network provider
using the numbers listed. (Normally no more that 10p/min).
Please be aware that all calls are billed at your telecom providers relevant 0870 & 0844 call rates so if you are not with O2 check first.
My mate is now using O2 Offpeak 600 tarrif and now can make about 500 minutes of international calls for free every month.
