i v heard of the z-bar as well....it was in the place called Kaleici i guess where tattoo bar is...!yeah tatto bar is crazy!:)they seem they have good fun!

Yes Tattoo bar is still open and gay, went there last night but it was dead i know its only to be expected out of season and mid week. or it could have something to do with there bar prices 7YTL for a small beer is outrageous by anyones standard, its a shame i traveled about 90km to give it try but at those prices dont think i will be rushing back !

I thought I bump this up a bit, because something changed. Z-bar is Tattoo bar, at least it is the old name. It moved about a year ago, still in kaleici, next to "another bar".
Its much bigger now, still expensive, but I guess that is to keep some hustlers out. every month there's a big party, entrance fee required, but it is packed, 100 or more ... most from izmir, mostly turks, only few tourists.
