    Hotel Istankoy - Kusadasi

Operator and Date: (Thomas Cook Discounts) Thomas Cook - May 2004

Opinion submitted in May 2004 by : Couple (38,39) - Stevenage

    Resort Rating: Excellent

    Accommodation Rating: Very Good

    My/Our Holiday Opinion:

We have just returned from our hols in Kusadasi, we had a great time. The hotel was very basic but always clean. Our only fault was the balcony was very small, we had clean towels every day and it had a 24hr bar & reception facilities. The staff are brill and so friendly. We had some great meals and would recomend THE MAYFLOWER, THE WISHINGWELL & THE GREEN GARDEN restaurants, the service was excellent.

The turkish are very kind people. As for shopping take plenty of money as the clothes are so cheap and all the good brands to. Always haggle in the shops and on the market, as the more you buy the cheaper it gets! We can't wait to go back and for 2wks next time

    cheery.gif Hi everyone,

just thought i would give an update on the Istankoy. We have stayed there 4 times in 2 years and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The staff are so friendly and helpful, when we return it is like seeing old friends again. As the 1st post said it is very clean, with maid service every day. This year the rooms had been decorated and refurnished and the reception area, dining area and bar have been revamped, and sky TV has been installed. There is also a full time chef now and a wider choice of menu is available at competitive prices.

The staff can't do enough for guests and will even arrange airport pickups/transfers for you.Services provided within the hotel include laundry service (£4) and internet (£1 per hr.)

We love the Istankoy and are gutted that we will have to wait untill June 07 to return. pro.gif pro.gif pro.gif
