    This is mine, 22/01/2007 :

    Today, we lost a great man in France, the Abbé Pierre, the most famous priest here. SaD.gif

    He helped homeless, immigrants, and poor people during his whole life (he was 95 years old). He was a resistant during the WW II, and saved a few Jews. He has been involved in a shipwreck, saved 2 persons from the iced water, and was even declared died by the rescuers. good.gif

    The most important : he created Emmaüs that exists now in 40 countries. This consists of selling old furniture or clothes , and all the benefits go to the homeless. clapping.gif

    I heard it this morning at 7:30, he died two hours earlier. I was sad all the day and tonight the tears came. I know its not a very happy 1st post for this topic, but thats that made my day... sad (4).gif

    ah well i suppose i'm selfish because i try not to let things like that influence my mood
    especially because i am perfectly capable of making myself miserable for no good reason
    Today was also not such a great day for me but only because i let some stupid ppl and situations at work to piss me off headbang.gif
    in short ... my title event for the day - too much bacteria in egg yolk crazy.gif

    Ummm I think my nephew made my day today lol I came in from work and he gave me biggest smile "Auntie" and took my coat off lol im not aloud to wear a coat in the house even if its freezing lol. The only way I we can persuade him he has to go home is by telling him we're going to see "Aunties car" lol and he wont let anyone carry him only me lol. He's a little nutter.
