    Hi have just joined the site. We are going to kusadasi for the first time in September, have found your site very useful with some great tips, but was just wondering about the mosquitos in september, are they really bad and what is the best thing for them, when we have been abroad before, never had any problems

    I went in September last year & have to say I think I saw one mosquito the whole time I was there!!!
    It flew by the pool - that was about it.. Didnt have any bites or problems with them at all tongue.gif

    its actually depends where you are staying ! some pleaces have no mosquitos but some places yeah ! so u can just buy a cheap anti mosquito here itcost about like 5 euro just in case !
    especially if u stay in a hotel have huge garden and close to water can be some blood suckers lol
    dont mind jules she had her vacation in a desert no one living there

    Dont mind him Sally - I stayed in the Palmin Hotel, about 10 mins from the centrum, I'd hardly call that the desert Sonny!! :sofunny:
    Our hotel had kinda landscapy stuff done to it & a massive pool & I still found no mosquitos!!

    Dont mind Sonny, he wears that aftershave that not even a mosquito wud go near!!! :sofunny:

    well now u cant be sure of masquitos if they were exist or not cose you have been out all night , right ? u know mostly masquitos bite at nights !

    I went out bout 9pm & didnt come home till 6am & then kinda slept till it was time to go out again!

    Hi thanks to both of you for the replies, we are staying at the Aqua Fantasy Land Hotel so will take some mosquito stuff just in case, also what is the weather like in September? Is it really hot original.gif

    i never really got bit as bad last year but two years ago i did i got one under my foot and it really killed me but the mosquitos havent been as bad unless there just used to my blood now ha ha

    Mmm, never noticed any mosquitos as I remember correctly..The weather is still great in September. Been there last year in the beginning of september and hot hot hot :060104_emM4_prv1: U'll looove it!! Have fun!
