    Palmin Hotel - Kusadasi

Operator and Date: Sunworld - May 2005

Opinion submitted in May 2005 by : Jenny, Trisha, Loraine, Joanne, Anita (23, 25,24,24,24)

    Resort Rating: Excellent

    Accommodation Rating: Excellent

    My/Our Holiday Opinion:

Hiya I came home home yesterday and couldn't wait to submit my report. I loved everything about Kusadasi. The people are so friendly and funny. The accomodation was excellent the only problem was there was no cooking facilities/fridge and it worked out expensive buying food out all the time. The trip to Ephesus is well worth while, we did the half day which was enough as the heat gets too much in the afternoon.

It was verrrry expensive in Turkey I was very surprised as everybody told me things were dirt cheap. Meals cost around ?30 and thats only for a main course and a drink. Bar street is the main drinking area, stay away from the pubs on the side street as they are doggy. Jimmys Irish bar is briallant. We loved it so much we're thinking about going again in August, Enjoy!

    Hi jules,

believe me it is the best hotel in kusadasi.the staff cannot do enough for you. you cant even light your own cigarette they light it for you(thats if you smoke)

the rooms are gorgeous and always clean. oh and they have this cream chair in the rooms and it is the comfiest chair ever. ah many a times i have come back from bar street and fell asleep on this chair. the hotel has its own website its www.palminhotel.com

hope u hav a brill time but no doubt u will.

Hi Charlie, tanx for all the info, yeah i've checked out the website, I'm really thrilled that it seems to have been an excellent choice.

I'm really looking forward to it and yes I do smoke so I will certainly be looking out for someone to lite it for me! LOL

Palmin is lovely, have stayed there a few times too!

Only thing I would fault is that the staff really dont like you going out at night and try to keep you in the hotel at night. Pester you to buy tickets for the BBQetc that they hold....other than that, its fab!

And there is a little lunatic at the pool every day. We used call him the "towel tucker" cos he used come round and fix your towel and make sure your comfy on your sun lounger.

Had a lovely Turkish bath in the Palmin too. It is a very nice hotel. and as someonementioned earlier.....the cream chair in the bedroom is heaven! :36_3_13:
