    Resort Rating: Very Good

    Accommodation Rating: Very Good

    My/Our Holiday Opinion:

Our first experience of Turkey turned out to be very enjoyable.

Apartments were very spacious and all staff very friendly (sometimes over excuberant in their quest to ensure a good holiday). Tuntas was everything you could ask for,the apartments were cleaned every day by very efficient cleaning staff but if there was a down side it was very quiet in the evening , however Ali, Alex , Hakan and Shaggy on the bar would stay all night if needed(and you needed a drink after climbing the hill back to the apartments).

The ladies beach area was a pleasant experience at night with restaurants and bars along the sea front all touting for your business , some more so than others. We found that meals and drinks were cheap with all restaurants offering a wide choice of cuisine to cater for all tastes .Our favourite places being Hot Pot which was run by Ray and Sue from England and Rosey,s where there was no hassle at all.Every meal we had in these places was excellent in both quality and value.

During our stay we were hassled every night by Ali Baba in Halykana's restaurant and being a stubborn lot we tryed to avoid this, but one day we succumbed and I have to say that my Govec was probably my best meal of the holiday.

We also frequented The Dream cafe bar which was a disco kind of bar ran by Antonio and his very generous staff who constantly offered drinks on the house to our party.I would recomend this to anyone.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our first Turkish experience , the weather was hot and the Ladies beach although sometimes crowded had good sand and clean sea. The Turks are a friendly lot who cant do enough to help. Also a special thanks goes to our JMC Rep Laura for looking after us and arranging a trip(and a cake) to the Marina chinese for my wife's birthday.

    We would definately return again.

I stayed in Tuntas for 2 weeks last year, technically we didnt stay there, we just spent the 2 weeks hanging at the pool and the bar cos the owner loved us ha ha, we were friends of Ali, Hakan, Shakir and Serdar(Alex) who is gone now by the way. The owner stuffed us with water melon everyday, he was such a lovely man and he let us use all the facilities for free. God love him he couldnt speak a word of English but he used to get Ali to translate for us!

Also in the 2 weeks that we were there, the former president of Turkey came to visit the hotel, apparently he is good friends with the owner! Anyhows, the owner brought us over to meet him, it was sooo cool, he was lovely. And the owner made us pose with him and his family and the president on the steps of the hotel for a professional photograph, we were in our element. It was funny cos i was thinking, if we ever went to America and ran up to George Bush to try to introduce ourselves we'd be shot ha ha. Mind you there were a few black cars and men dressed in black suits with guns but they didnt try to stop us when we went to introduce ourselves to the president.

Anyways the hotel is great, we loved it and its so clean too, really good service!
