i was really shocked no-one has put a topic down about the TUR HOTEL. so i thought id do one myself! Ive stayed in the Tur hotel many times. Its located at the friday market.. at the top... past the Atli.. next to the Bora HOtel. And the tour operators are SUNSET/THOMAS COOK. The hotel is really clean.. the rooms are small.. and basic and are cleaned everyday. They dont have Tv in the rooms..but in the lobby the have a wide screen Tv with british Channels... like bbc1. ITV etc etc so you can still watch your soaps. The bar and snack bar is open 24/7 so its good for late night munchies! The pool is HUGE. and is cleaned everyday.
Its a family run hotel. So its really comfy and cosey and they make you feel at home. They also offer a barber service. Where you can get hair cuts, eye brows done, legs done etc etc... really cheap. Id return to the TUR anyday of the week xxx i hope you pay it a visit too xx

angrrrl.gif Are you all blind, with no sense of smell or taste....we were forced to stay at the hotel Tur (D) as we named it after one night, Faulty Towers springs to mind!! the rooms were disgusting , the staff were rude.........Apart from the eyebrow tweezer........a week there made me want to go to Bagdad and get blown up for even thinking about paying for the services....or not! the flies ate more of the breakfast than we did and they died after one mouthful..........have any of you read the comments book.....Oct 2005 from Jade...........oh I forget you're all blind!! the toilet handle was broken for 5 days of our 7 , the was a tree in the bathroom, coming from the property across the road............and the only moving things that used the TINY , DIRTY pool was the neighbourhood dogs. There was 3 earthquakes within the 7 days we stayed there and the only thing it didnt that didnt fall down was the HOTEL TUR(D) thats because the muck was holding it up..........If this was one of your best holidays I would hate to hear of your worst, There is a great holiday deal coming up for you poor beggars.........a week away in a disused German Concentration Camp! bomb.gif

celb.gif didnt call your members blind, i asked if they were, thought there was a thing called freedom of speech dear, members might like the Tur, members might not.........I did not, the blankets smelt, there was a stag party in the room oppersite that was being sick all over the beds and trashing the room with no one asking them for a liitle decorum. also I never stated that I didnt like Kusadasi, I did, we had a nice week there, some friendly people, some pushy people what ever, dont set up or join a group if you cannot say or put up with others comments, i certainly was not rude to the people or staff at the tur. in fact I and my family were very tolerant of the place, we went out every day just to avoid the place , we told them the toilet handle was broken on the first day, we had to use the shower hose to flush the loo, for 5 days before they bodged it only to break the next day, the walls were mouldy up to 2 foot from the bottom , MY opinion and my girls was the place was shabby............your opinion is Its Buckingham palace....... your choice dear..............have you ever stayed in a nice hotel???? Just asking.

For your information, freedom of speech is not absolute! I will give you the simplest example so that you can understand - you are not allowed to shout fire in a crowded theatre!
Every country has its rules as to what constitutes limitations to "freedom of speech". The same way, we have our rules here and let me put it simply - bad reviews are more than welcome as we do want to have objective picture about every hotel and place our members might visit in Kusadasi but people with capacity to say: "There is a great holiday deal coming up for you poor beggars.........a week away in a disused German Concentration Camp!" are absolutely not welcome!
Nobody said Tur was Buckingham palace. If you wanted Buckingham palace, you shouldn't have stayed in a two star hotel!
Shabby? Maybe the hotel is shabby but I think a similar word might be used for the way you were raised! You definitely seem as if you need another holiday, though I am not sure that will do much good to your frustrations, but I still wish you a fast recovery far away from our forum!
